We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.

Position Overview: As an Occupational Therapist with our school district, you will play a crucial role in helping students develop the skills necessary to participate fully in their academic and social environments. You will work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents to assess needs, develop intervention plans, and implement strategies to support student success.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with student goals and objectives.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, including therapeutic exercises, sensory integration activities, and adaptive equipment recommendations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Utah.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
