Position Title: Nursing Services Coordinator
Pay: $28 - $30 / hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Blakehurst is recruiting for a hospitality focused Nursing Services Coordinator to join our team! This position is responsible for developing and implementing staffing solutions to comply with legal regulations and company procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding new employees.
- Prepare work schedules and enforce compliance with company and industry labor requirements.
- Create daily staffing reports, monitor employee performance, and submit weekly reports to management.
- Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to Nurse Management.
- Confirm staff details and working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation.
- Track and maintain licensures, CPR and First Aid of Nurses.
- Track and maintain the physician licensing log.
- Reconcile and post invoices from vendors, including rehabilitation services. (By use AP-express Program)
- Work closely with Admin assistant with medical record chart thinning and destruction.
- Assist and facilitate the completion of the payroll for nursing. (UKG & HCM CLOUD).
Qualifications:
- High school graduate. Ability to communicate effectively in English and perform simple arithmetic.
- Microsoft Office literate.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- One year experience in a health care setting, preferable in long term care.
- Requires good judgment to plan, perform and set-up sequences within standard procedures.
- Requires analysis of facts and information to take action following established guidelines.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we ask about your vaccination status.
