Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Legal Secretary to join our team in the Trust & Estate Department. As a Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative support to the Firm's managing partner and assist in the smooth operation of our law firm. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Prepare and draft legal documents
- File and organize legal documents and maintain paper and electronic files
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist with legal drafting and document preparation
- Support other attorneys and staff with project management tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and terminology

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Proficient in data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
