Blackhawk Moving & Storage is a small business in Sycamore, IL. We are customer-centric, supportive and demanding.

Customer Service Manager

Duties:

  • Set and accomplish department goals related to quality, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Motivate and support team members
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline best practices, and share/receive feedback between departments.
  • Participate with Senior Management and HR in candidate searches, interviews, and decisions on new Customer Service team members
  • Present feedback and reports to team members & management
  • Develop solutions for escalated & distressed customers.
  • Contribute as part company’s Management Team
  • Create and maintain a positive experience for the customer
  • Provide complete and accurate information regarding service requirements, facilitating accurate estimates
  • Provide service to internal and external customers, responding quickly and accurately to requests for information
  • Assemble job paperwork for operations while providing a complete move plan with detailed descriptions of all services to be provided

Requirements:

  • National Account & International relocation experience is preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
  • Ability to learn new business software and internet-based programs
  • College Degree and/or Business Management Training
  • Customer service, communication, teamwork, organization, planning, time management, dependability, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to interact cooperatively and professionally with customers and co-workers
  • Must have empathy and understanding with customers
