[Overview] Blackhawk Country Club is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Swim Coach for the upcoming summer season. The Assistant Swim Coach will work closely with the Head Swim Coach to provide high-quality coaching and instruction to swimmers of all ages and skill levels. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for swimming and coaching to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

[Responsibilities]

• Assist the Head Swim Coach in planning and implementing daily swim practices and workouts.
• Provide technical instruction and feedback to swimmers on proper stroke technique, starts, turns, and finishes.
• Support swimmers in setting and achieving their individual goals, both in practice and during swim meets.
• Help maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all swimmers.
• Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop and implement training plans and strategies.
• Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other club events as required.

• Previous experience as a swim coach or competitive swimmer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
• Current certification in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding (preferred).
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
