Dental Assistant

Black Hills Modern Endodontics in Rapid City is seeking to expand our team! We are looking for someone with initiative, maturity and an eye for detail. This position will have both front and back office duties.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

· Assisting the doctors and other team members

· Taking dental radiographs (if licensed)

· Sterilization and cleaning of treatment rooms

· General administrative tasks

· Communicating with patients and their referring dentists' offices

Ideal candidate will possess the following

· SKILLS:

o Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

o Attention to detail

o multi-tasking & organization

o Comfortable working with computer programs

o Basic understanding of dentistry, radiography, & sterilization

· QUALITIES:

o Friendly, confident, dependable, compassionate, punctual, out-going

o Mature, honest, and a good sense of humor!

· EXPERIENCE:

o 6 months or more of experience in a medical or dental office preferred

· EDUCATION:

o High School Diploma or equivalent Required

o Dental Radiography certification Required

o CPR certification Preferred

· AVAILABILITY:

o Monday through Thursday between 7:00am and 5:30pm (no weekends) Approximately 35-40 hours per week

· COMPENSATION:

o Based on experience and subject to change after initial 90 day introductory period.

o Paid holidays and Vacation time
