Level III Security Officer, preferably with law enforcement/corrections, or military training.

Duties

- Conduct regular patrols of the properties to detect and deter any theft and or vandalizations.

- Respond promptly to emergencies, and incidents, including medical emergencies, fires.

- conduct reports and, investigative work.

- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related activities.

- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed threw CERT .

Skills:

- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.

- Knowledge of security procedures and protocols.

- Proficient in using CCTV systems and other security equipment.

Responsibilities

Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment

Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances

Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property

Apprehend criminals and evict violators

Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences

Report in detail any suspicious incidents

Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter

Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates

Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment

Must have reliable transportation

- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Protect property and assets by implementing security measures and protocols
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms to identify potential security threats
- Respond to emergencies, including medical incidents, accidents, or incidents of theft or vandalism
- Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports as necessary
- Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary

Skills:
- Possess a valid security certificate or license
- Experience in loss prevention or security-related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with military or law enforcement procedures is a plus
- Knowledge of first aid/CPR techniques is beneficial
- Proficient in operating CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
