Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facility to identify maintenance needs
- Repair or replace faulty equipment parts, such as motors, switches, and valves
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems to diagnose issues
- Weld or fabricate components as needed
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for larger repair projects
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers

Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical systems
- Experience with facilities maintenance and repair work
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Knowledge of logic controllers and automation systems
- Welding skills for fabrication or repair work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise external contractors when necessary

Job Types: Contract, Temporary

Pay: $12.18 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

• 8 hour shift
