Bizzy Bees Early Learning Center is Hiring a Teacher Assistant (Summer) Near Clinton, MI

We are looking for a reliable , enthusiastic seasonal assistant teacher . The assistant will mainly be responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in classroom duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that children are safe and that their everyday needs are met – this may include diapering, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Engage in positive interaction with children to build confidence and self-esteem.
  • Ensure children are kept active, entertained, and engaged in developmental activities.
  • Plan and oversee daily schedules.
  • Model and encourage good social skills, e.g. strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • First aid training is strongly preferred
  • Experience working with children
  • Reliable transportation
  • Clean criminal record/background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
