Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a team ofengineers, scrum masters, and product owners to develop and grow systems thatreach millions of consumers through the brand.

As part of this team, youwill be involved in designing and building services in a continuous deliverymodel on the

cloud platform. This role will also partner with leads andarchitects to help establish a technical vision and deliver innovative serviceswhich are consistent, maintainable, and highly scalable for various commerce experiences.

Focus areas will includeinventory, orders, and fulfillment domains.

Responsibilities

·5 years’experience in microservice architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful APIsusing Java 8

·2 years’experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment with hightransaction volumes (AWS preferred: EC2, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda)

·Experience withSpring framework and Spring Boot

·Solid foundationin data structures, algorithms, and architecture patterns

·Ability to definesolutions, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technicalfeasibility

·Experience withmodern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis,and automated integration tests

·Practice full DevOps ensuring a culture oftesting and releasing software on AWS continuously using automation andmonitoring

·Experience with CloudFormation or Terraformfor AWS provisioning

·Leverage NoSQLusing AWS DynamoDB to ensure data storage is designed for security,reliability, availability, maintainability, and performance

·Deliver softwarein a Scrum development process

·Experience inperforming technical code reviews and pair programming

·Partner with other teams to ensure the serviceecosystem is loosely coupled and scalable

Requirements

Qualifications

·Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Information Systems, or other relevant field

·Relevant professional experiencein lieu of a degree

·Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills

·Knowledgeable with version controlsystems (Git) and issue tracking tools (JIRA)

·Experience with CI/CD and relatedtools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)

·A track record of solving problemsand getting things done in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment

·Ability to work in a collaborative environmentthat rewards experiments, initiative, curiosity, and mentoring

·eCommerce experience preferred
