BizTek People, Inc. | APA International Placement Consultants is Hiring a Junior Financial Analyst - Bilingual Japanese Near New York, NY

Prestigious global bank seeks a bilingual Japanese FinancialAnalyst at its Pan Asian Corporate Banking Department to support RelationshipManagers in preparing credit applications, reviewing quarterly financialreports and conducting credit reviews of loans in the portfolio.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

Analyze andresearch on the performance of corporate borrowers and assess historicalperformance and future projections; ie. Cash flow analysis, risk capitalcalculations.

Gather supportdocumentation to structure deals, liaise with middle and back office for KYCpurposes, and assist in drafting pre-screen memos for the Credit Department.

Conductquarterly and annual reviews of loan portfolio and handle a variety of systemand procedural issues related to the borrowers such as internal grading,monthly/quarterly reporting, and other ad hoc projects.

Undertakeresearch and analytics related to specific sectors, regions or loans, and stayabreast of current market conditions.

Provide ad hocreports for management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred or equivalent education and training.
  • 1-2 years of experience working at a corporate bank or other financial institution.
  • Some knowledge of banking and prior internships at a bank or financial institution preferred.
  • Highly proficient MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are required.
  • CFA Level I a plus.
  • Japanese language skills (business level) required.
