BizFirst is assisting our client withrecruiting a Full-time Senior Financial Analyst – Federal Audit and Compliance.Our client is a boutique consulting firm that employs consultants andprofessionals with unique skill sets to support the federal government withstrategic execution, financial process enablement, IT systems, and EnterpriseResource Planning (ERP) software implementation. Thisposition will be primarily remote/virtual, with potentially periodic visits tothe customer’s office in the National Capital Region.

What you will Do

The Senior Financial Analyst will play a keyrole in supporting Federal customers by maintaining effective internal controlstructures and reporting Annual Statements of Assurance. This position requiresa highly skilled individual with experience in federal audit readiness, auditremediation, and compliance efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a keycontributor in maintaining and enhancing internal control structures andpreparing and reporting Annual Statements of Assurance for Federal clients.
  • Communicate complexfinancial audit concepts and issues to Federal senior/executive level managerseffectively.
  • Identify risks andevaluate internal controls to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance withFMFIA, FFMIA, OMB Circular A-123, and CFO Act-focused programs.
  • Conceptualize andwrite detailed audit and compliance reports to communicate results clearly andeffectively.
  • Work collaborativelywithin virtual and in-person teams, demonstrating excellent contractmanagement, delivery, and teamwork skills.
  • Support both remoteand on-site operations, with periodic visits required to the customer’s officein the National Capital Region.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree,preferably in accounting or related field.
  • 1-3 years ofexperience communicating financial audit concepts with Federal senior/executivelevel managers.
  • 1-3 years ofexperience in identifying risks and evaluating internal controls.
  • Demonstratedexperience with FMFIA, FFMIA, OMB Circular A-123, and CFO Act-focused programs.
  • Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizenand eligible for either a NACI or DoD Secret Clearance.
