Oracle Help DeskSupport – SECRET Clearance – San Diego

BizFirst isassisting our client with recruiting a skilled and experienced Help DeskSupport professional who will apply technical expertise and skills to provideTier 1 helpdesk support (triage) for our organization. The role will alsoinvolve handling DAI access requirements and maintenance, as well as providingsupport and troubleshooting for Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and other relatedissues. In addition, the position will require creating training materials,preparing bi-weekly metrics and progress reports, monthly communication tools,and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years ofexperience in direct support of DAI financial and accounting operations, with astrong preference for experience in DAI modules such as Budget to Report, CostAccounting, Procure to Pay, Oracle Time and Labor, OBIEE, User Management(UMX), and Order to Cash.

What will you do

Responsibilities: Responsibilities slightly vary by years of experience andSenior/Mid-level/Entry assignment

  • Provide Tier 1helpdesk support (triage) to users, resolving issues and escalating complexproblems to the appropriate teams as
  • Handle DAI accessrequirements, including provisioning and maintaining user access according toestablished policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot andprovide support for Oracle Time and Labor (OTL) and related modules, ensuringtimely resolution of issues and minimizing system downtime.
  • Develop and maintaintraining materials to enable end-users to effectively utilize DAI and relatedmodules.
  • Prepare bi-weeklymetrics and progress reports, summarizing help desk activities, ticketresolution, and user satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in the creationof monthly communication tools, including newsletters, user tips, and systemupdates, to enhance user awareness and adoption of DAI and related modules.
  • Generate regularreports on help desk performance, including ticket volumes, resolution times,and user feedback, to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Requirements slightlyvary by years of experience and Senior/Mid-level/Entry assignment.

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the past ten (10) years in direct support of Oracle Federal financial and accounting operations.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle Federal Financial or DAI modules, including Budget to Report, Cost Accounting, Procure to Pay, Oracle Time and Labor, OBIEE, User Management (UMX), and Order to Cash.
  • Proven experience in providing Tier 1 helpdesk support, including issue triaging, ticket management, and resolution.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle Time and Labor and other related modules.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with other Oracle Financials modules and integration points.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and data analysis.
  • Understanding of ITIL processes and methodologies.
  • Relevant certifications in DAI or related fields are a plus.
