BIX Produce Company is Hiring a Night Production Associate Near Canada, MN
Overview
Come grow your career with BIX Produce! We are hiring for Production Associates. The position is responsible for performing all roles on the production lines as directed by the Team and/or Area Leads.
- Starting pay at $18.00 up to $19.55 an hour
- Sunday - Friday, Saturday off 1 weekday
- Sunday start 4PM, Monday - Friday start 5PM to Production Completion
Responsibilities
- Coring of Lettuce and Cabbage with tools recommended by Team or Area Lead.
- Hand cutting and peeling numerous types of fruits and vegetables.
- Being able to operate and read scales.
- General clean up duties (sweeping, emptying garbage, etc.)
- Washing down equipment with hoses.
- Operate any equipment necessary for the Production lines, such as conveyors, bin dumps, potato peelers, etc.
- Ensure Product Quality
- Follow all GMP’s.
- Food Safety as it relates to this position.
- Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous food production experience preferred
- Basic English skills
- Ability to work in a cold environment (0 degrees to 40 degrees) and wet at all times
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time (8 hours per day)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis
- Background Check required
