BiOWiSH Technologies is Hiring an Agronomy Account Manager – Midwest USA Near Kansas, KS

POSITION: Agronomy Account Manager – Midwest USA

HOURS: As required

REPORTING TO: President

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

1. Commercialization of the BiOWiSH® technology into applications associated with Agronomy in the Midwest USA.

2. Develop a distribution network and manage Key Accounts.

3. Provide technical and sales support to fertilizer companies, distributors, dealers, and end users to ensure optimal performance of the technology and ongoing sales.

4. Direct the development and implementation of customer value propositions in the region.

5. Maximize gross profit contribution in the Agronomy segment and achievement of Key Performance Indicators.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide strategic direction within segment for the assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement customer Development and Support plans for each Key Account.
  • Produce an annual business plan with associated sales forecast and quarterly operating plans and obtain sign-off from President on plan initiatives.
  • Contribute to implementation of agreed segment strategy and achievement of segment revenue and margin targets in accordance with the business plan.
  • Assist in managing logistics, inventory, and demand forecasting for the segment in the region.
  • Contribute to BiOWiSH Agronomy initiatives as a member of the global team.
  • Lead sales process within segment in the assigned territory.
  • Manage agronomy products positioning and marketing plans based on understanding of cropping systems in the region.
  • Work with BiOWiSH Agronomy Product Manager to develop best management application specific treatment protocols to optimize performance of BiOWiSH® products in the region.
  • Coordinate and plan on-farm plots that demonstrate the value of the BiOWiSH technology.
  • Collect field trials, data collection, and derive information from trial data to support BiOWiSH best management practices and marketing materials in the designated region.
  • Provide on-the-ground technical support to fertilizer companies, distributors, dealers, and end users in the region as needed.
  • Undertake technical training of BiOWiSH fertilizer companies, distributors, dealers, and sales agents.
  • Conduct agronomic training for dealers at dealer meetings, farmer meetings, and field days.
  • Work with BiOWiSH Marketing to develop marketing collaterals to support sales in the region.
  • Provide commercial product positioning and training for dealers to assist with their sales calls, perform ride-alongs and dual calls where value supports.
  • Effectively define and communicate advantages of BiOWiSH® products to key customers, distributors, industry bodies, and thought leaders.
  • Manage demand generation, associated support services, and required resources in North America, including recruitment and management of staff as business dictates.
  • Maintain intimate knowledge of the respective products, market, distribution channels, competitive landscape and application areas.
  • Any other duties as reasonably required by President.
  • Uphold all company policies including Anti-Trust (and international equivalent) compliance and compliance with EH&S policies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ANDABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Strong English-speaking skills. Second languages an advantage.
  • High performing technical sales professional with minimum 10 years agronomy industry experience.
  • Advanced degree in Agronomy and Certified Professional Agronomists is preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Experience in conducting commercial distributor, end user, and research trials.
  • Possess strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in report writing.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute across the business.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative as required.
  • Time management and project management skills.
  • Advanced computer skills – PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, CRM

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • Travel is required in this role.
  • Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment and will also include distributor and on-farm site visits.
  • Limited physical effort required.
  • No or very limited exposure to physical risk.

LOCATION:

  • Role will be home based in Midwest USA.
