Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their Full-Time Instructor (Bioscience) position, in the Bioscience Technology Department, Division of Health and Public Safety. This position is located at ATC's Main Campus, located in the heart of Atlanta.
Under general supervision of the Dean of Health and Public Safety Technology, the Full-Time Bioscience instructor responsibilities include developing, teaching, and implementing related lecture and laboratory life science courses, but may have other teaching assignments, as needed. This position requires a passion, demonstrated by experience, for effective teaching and advisement of diverse students plus excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated commitment to the college mission. The instructor will also be instrumental in the enhancement of the Bioscience Technology Program by serving on departmental and college committees, councils, working as a team member in curriculum development, assisting in course coordination, providing academic counseling and guidance to students, and participating in other college and community outreach and other community service activities consistent with the mission of Atlanta Technical College and Technical College System of Georgia.
