Description
The Director of Analytics collaborates with all business teams to develop and execute data collecting, organizing, and displaying with the purpose of enabling value-driven decisions. As the lead of BI, Reporting, and data analytics, this role owns the corporate responsibility to manage the BI team
Requirements
· Defines analytics ramp-up strategy and plan for stakeholders, integrating with strategy, and technology organizations
· Oversee the development and execution of analytics strategies that align with business objectives
· Lead a team of analysts in collecting, organizing, and interpreting complex data sets
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving the customer experience, increasing efficiency, and driving revenue growth
· Develop and implement data-driven reporting and analytics to inform business decisions
· Create and present reports and visualizations that communicate data insights to executive leadership and other stakeholders
· Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in analytics and data science
· Manage multiple resources and projects concurrently to ensure successful completion of analytic projects
· Evangelize the value of analytics services internally and directly with stakeholders
· Ensures organization, design, and team are in place to deliver against plans
· Ensures strong operational processes are in place to deliver across all areas of responsibility
· Actively mentors team members focused on modeling, developing, and reporting activities
· Creates an environment where data and analytics professionals can develop their skills and grow their careers through taking on increased responsibility and adding value to the organization
· Source and manage IS Managed Services contracts and personnel as required to ensure internal support requirements are satisfied.
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related fields
· 10 years of experience in data analytics, with a minimum of 5 years in management or executive leadership roles
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to work with large datasets
· Experience in leading analytics teams and developing analytics strategies
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
· Experience with multi-site integrations and management of internal customers across different geographies and product lines
· Proficiency with data analytics languages/tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Tableau
