Budget Title: Senior Staff Assistant (SL-3)
Salary: $54,000 - $57,000
Campus Recreational Services (CRS) offers a multi-faceted program that is designed to encourage positive lifestyle choices and promote lifelong learning through both wellness and physical activity. The department manages the Recreation Center at the East Gym and operates six core program areas: Fitness, Open Recreation, Intramural Sports, Club Sports, Outdoor Pursuits and Wellness Services. Through these programs the department serves approximately 80% of undergraduate students, as well as graduate students, faculty & staff, alumni, University affiliates and community members. Beginning in spring 2024, we are breaking ground on a 75,000 sq. ft. expansion of our facility which is scheduled to be open in 2025. Expansion plans include increased fitness space, three additional multi use courts, an elevated track and space for a climbing wall.
CRS is looking for an enthusiastic team player to assist in the leadership and administration of all technological aspects of the department. Reporting to the Director, the successful candidate has the opportunity to function independently and complete tasks with limited supervision, manage ambiguity, and work within collaborative decision-making structures as needed. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing IT services for a professional organization and demonstrate high levels of adaptability and ability to learn new software.
