What We Need:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Telemetry unit. As a Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs, interpreting telemetry data, and providing quality care to patients with cardiac conditions. If you have a passion for patient care and possess strong critical thinking skills, we encourage you to apply.
What You Will Do:
Job Specific Responsibilities:- Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment
- Interpret telemetry data and notify healthcare team of any abnormalities or changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist with procedures as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) system (Cerner)
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by adhering to infection control policies and procedures
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during times of stress or uncertainty
What You Will Need:
BLS obtained from (American heart Association ) AHA
ACLS obtained from (American heart Association ) AHA
NIHSS certification.
RN license
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
