Job Title: RN Med surg/ Telemetry Days/ Nights (12x3/ 12x4)
Shift: Days or Nights (12x3/ 12x4) all shifts are available
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL 35401
Length of an assignment: 13 weeks with possible extension.
Guaranteed Hours: 36/ 48
Duties and responsibilities:

• Assessment: Conducting thorough assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay, including monitoring vital signs, assessing pain levels, and evaluating overall patient status.
• Medication Administration: Administering medications as prescribed by physicians, including oral medications, injections, IV medications, and other treatments. This includes monitoring patients for any adverse reactions to medications.
• Patient Education: Educating patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatments, and self-care practices. This may involve teaching patients how to manage their medications, monitor their conditions, and make healthy lifestyle choices.
• Wound Care: Providing wound care and dressing changes for patients with surgical incisions, injuries, or chronic wounds. This includes assessing the status of wounds, cleaning and dressing them appropriately, and monitoring for signs of infection or other complications.
• Monitoring: Monitoring patients closely for any changes in their condition, such as changes in vital signs, symptoms of complications, or signs of deterioration. This may involve continuous monitoring using electronic devices or frequent physical assessments.

Requirements:
AL state or compact RN License required.
Active BLS through AHA.
Must have 1 years of Med Surg/ tele experience.
Pay rate: $2000/ weekly- $2100/ weekly gross for 36 hrs.
