Contract Duration – 13 weeks Contract.
Department /Unit – Medical Surgical/ tele/PCU

Schedule: Nights 7pm to 7;30 am

Facility location - 141 N. Forge St., Akron, OH, 44304

Unit Description -: This is a 36-bed PCU/TELE surgical unit that specializes in orthopedic, cardiothoracic, and bariatric procedures. Must have 2 years of surgical experience. Floating is required. Must have ACLS and BLS for this unit. Ratios are 1:5.

What You Will Do:

Job Specific Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and post-hospital treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate medical documentation

What You Will Need:

BLS Obtained from American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS Obtained from American Heart Association (AHA)
NIHSS Certification,

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $54.25 - $62.00 per hour
