Bimbo Bakeries USA is Hiring a Market Sales Leader Near Garland, TX

The Market Sales Leader (MSL) is responsible for achieving sales growth and freshness through people growth, market share growth, and customer relationships. Responsibilities include leading the execution of Direct Store Delivery (DSD) route sales in the market.

  • Exemplify the characteristics of BBU and its brands and extend those brand values through daily activities and interactions in the workplace.
  • Foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement to include the development of self, teams, and work processes.
  • Embrace the value of constant improvement to take appropriate actions that result in constructive change.
  • Establish team goals and communicate them to help achieve performance targets.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support achievement of zero workplace injuries by performing safety observations within the Grupo Bimbo (GB) safety platform and executing safety awareness programs.
  • Consistently follow DSDE Playbook with emphasis on BBU Way to Sell and Leader Standard Work.
  • Communicates plans and conducts business reviews quarterly to identify opportunities and action plans.
  • Develop core competencies of merchandising and selling for frontline through coaching and consistent performance feedback.
  • Identifies potential BBU associates and frontline candidates and participates in the interview process for new hires.

Position Requirements
:

Selling Capabilities

  • Achieve DSDE Key Objectives and Results (DKORs) within market of responsibility.
  • Utilize data tools to analyze business and identify store level opportunities.
  • Utilize tablet and sales data to drive effective decisions at store.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relations exceeding customer expectations.
  • Share performance data with stores and frontline.

Merchandising Best Practices

  • Utilize DSDE shelf best practice to ensure adherence to brand and store guidelines.
  • Utilize DSDE display best practice to drive optimal sales and World-Class merchandising presentation.
  • Executes customer commitment leveraging customer merchandising plan.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Ability to engage and inspire frontline associates and business partners to pursue the BBU vision for growth.
  • Ability to lead, adapt and champion change.

Education and Work History:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field preferred. A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.

Ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3 – 5 years of related experience in customer relations or sales.
  • DSD experience is a plus.
  • At least 6 months experience leading and influencing others.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain a DOT Medical card.
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish a plus.
  • Travel Required up to 5%.
