BILTMORE HOTEL is Hiring a Guest Services Agent Near CORAL GABLES, FL

Description

Position Summary

The Guest Services Agent provides information that is requested by the callers and serves as a liaison for the guest and operational departments. As well, greets callers with enthusiasm while understanding their requests and maintaining the high Biltmore standards. This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’S).

Responsibilities

  • Answer internal call for guest.
  • Answer external calls.
  • Transfer calls to requested department.
  • Take guest requests for restaurant reservations, etc.
  • Make reservations for guests for the Biltmore’s restaurant outlets.
  • Print reports every 3 hours from Property Management System (Megasys).
  • Provide Wakeup calls for guests.
  • Use HotSOS for guests and department requests/orders.
  • Have full understanding of hotel outlets and amenities.

Requirements

Experience and Education Required

  • Education

High School Diploma required

  • Experience

Minimum one year of PBX experience preferred

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to:
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity.
  • Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems. Most work tasks are performed indoors.
