Opportunities are available for substitutes teachers for all levels (elementary, middle and high school) for the 2023-2024 school year.Substitute teachers are responsible for:-Managing a classroom of students by keeping them focused on their daily assignment(s)-Follow lesson plans left by the teacher-Supervise and ensure safety of students in your classroom-Maintain a productive and safe classroom environment-Leave notes and provide any feedback to the classroom teacher upon their returnSubstitutes Teachers for the Elementary Schools are preferred to possess at least a Bachelor's Degree. Substitutes with two (2) years of college majoring in Education and a recommendation from the building principal can also be utilized. Substitutes Teachers for the Middle/High Schools MUST have completed at least two (2) years of college.Daily rate of pay is $90.00 and $50.00 (for a 1/2 day). These positions are for the 2023-2024 school year only and are on-call positions. These are part-time positions (no more than 3 days per week) and do not include employee benefits.
