Bill Kay Buick Gmc is currently seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Parts Counter Representative. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist customers with their automotive parts needs, provide excellent customer service, and ensure efficient operations at the parts counter.
Responsibilities:
1. Greet customers and assist them in identifying and selecting the right automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles.
2. Provide accurate and detailed information about parts availability, pricing, and compatibility.
3. Process parts orders, including receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory.
4. Utilize the dealership's computerized inventory system to locate and track parts.
5. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Collaborate with other departments, such as service and sales, to fulfill parts orders and meet customer needs.
7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts counter area.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in automotive parts sales or a related field preferred.
2. Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Proficiency in using computerized inventory systems and basic computer skills.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and transactions.
7. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.
