Bill Jacobs Motorsport, a fast-paced, family-owned dealer group representing successful brands such as BMW, MINI, Volkswagen, Jaguar, Land Rover, and Current Automotive, is seeking a seasoned, talented and dynamic Sales Advisor to join our team due to company growth. The ideal candidates have a consultative, customer-focused approach to selling new, pre-owned, and electric vehicles.
The Role at a Glance
In this role you will communicate with customers through phone, email, chat, and in-person. You will qualify prospective customers’ interests, discuss specific needs and daily driving habits, and suggest the right vehicle.. You will negotiate trade-in, discuss and arrange financing, offer additional products, and sign documents.
What you’ll be doing
  • This is a hands-on position requiring a willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to drive sales. It requires a self-motivated, reliable individual, with the ability to work independently. This high visibility role offers strong career growth opportunities within our organization.
  • Make purchasing a vehicle a fun and educational experience for customers.
  • Respond to inbound leads quickly while qualifying purchase intent and timeline.
  • Educate prospective customers on electric vehicles and their benefits over gas cars.
  • Facilitate test drives and charging demonstrations on-site.
  • Guide prospective customers to a decision on the vehicle that is best for their needs.
  • Discuss trade-in, financing, and registration with confidence.
What we’re looking for
Must-haves:
  • Proven experience in building and/or generating a loyal client base.
  • 2 years in a customer-facing role
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter who is forward-thinking and entrepreneurial.
  • Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to operate with minimal direction or oversight
  • Ability to identify problems and establish a priority level for a solution.
Nice-to-haves
  • Previous pre-owned electric vehicle sales experience preferred
