Position: Reconstruction Estimator

Pay & Benefits:

• Base Salary 50-80K plus production bonuses

• Sick time: 40 hours front-loaded when you reach 90 days
• Paid time off: floating holidays & vacation starts accruing after 90 days

Responsibilities:

• Estimate all types of residential remodeling with correct profit levels
• Establish project costs by determining quantities and measurements of all construction scopes and applying unit costs
• Schedule projects with the Project Manager
• Prepare construction budget by studying home plans, updating specifications, and identifying and projecting costs
• Meet with customers to go over details of remodeling estimate
• Understand different construction trades and materials
• Prepare contracts and manage the payment collection process
• Communicate effectively with clients and adjusters to define reconstruction scope and expectations

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience as an Estimator in Restoration/Reconstruction
• Xactimate required
• Clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, squat, open doors, and climb/ descend stairs.
• Operate standard office equipment (computers, phones, copier, fax machine or scanner).

Environmental Conditions:

• Climate-controlled Office.
