Job Overview

This position reports to the directly to the Lead Cashier, Store Manager, or MOD (Manager On Duty).

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Completion of or in process of completing high school diploma.
• Skill in counting money and processing customer transactions accurately.
• Operating Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Greeting and assisting customers.
• Able to follow verbal and written work direction, particularly where instructions are specific.
• Able to communicate respectfully with coworkers and customers.
• Clean and maintaining organization at the checkout station.
• Assist with answering phones and responding to radio and overhead pages as needed.
• Completing end of day cash report thoroughly and accurately.
• Following through on daily checklists.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Activities:

• Ability to work on feet (for long periods of time) in a hot and humid environment.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull moderately heavy objects, up to 50lbs.

Work Environment:

• Hot, dry, wet, and cold.
• Potential for exposure to slippery surfaces and allergy irritants.
