Big Stone Therapies is currently seeking a full-time Billing Assistant to join our team at our administrative building in Big Stone City, SD. This is a benefited, full-time position scheduled for 40 hours per week (1.0FTE), M-F; 8:00a-4:30p with a daily 30-minute unpaid break. Big Stone Therapies offers a hybrid, work from home schedule.

Qualifications: 

• Require a two-year degree in Administrative Assistance, or other related field of study. May consider substituting direct relative experience for degree based on level and relativity of experience. 
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with the public and employees in a highly professional manner.
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Must be detail oriented, organized, efficient, self-motivated and possess multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Must be able to type proficiently and accurately.

Job Duties: 

• Data Entry
• Auditing
• Working with insurance companies for claim questions, denials, and re-submission's
• Processing payments from patients or insurance companies
• Other assigned tasks
