Big Saver Foods is a family owned business established in 1977, we offer a full assortment of fresh meat, farm fresh produce, bakeries, tortillerias and delicious hot foods.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain customer service standards on the front end
- Oversee the closing operations of the store, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the closing team, including cashiers, grocery clerks, produce and meat clerks staff.
- Ensure that all closing duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints that may arise during the closing shift.
- Monitor inventory levels as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the establishment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as an Assistant Manager or Closing Manager in the supermarket and retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Familiarity with front end management operations.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
