Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Schedule appointments and manage the service department's calendar
- Communicate with customers about their service needs and provide accurate estimates
- Create repair orders and ensure all necessary information is documented
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of automotive services and repairs, including air brakes, auto body repair, suspension, tire service, oil changes, shocks/struts, brake repair, and diesel engine repair
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for scheduling and invoicing
