Host/Host
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their designated tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in seating guests according to their preferences and the restaurant's seating capacity
- Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information about the restaurant
- Manage the waitlist and notify guests when their table is ready
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Familiarity with Toast POS system is a plus
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
- Ability to handle guest relations in a professional and friendly manner
- Excellent organizational skills to manage reservations and waitlist efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
