Big Delicious Planet, an established sustainable catering brand, is looking for a fun, creative, detail oriented individual to continue driving growth and enhancing our brand. 

Job Summary

Brand & Marketing Manager performs a variety of tasks involved with the advancement of our established brand in addition to administrative support for small team.

Responsibilities of position would include, but not be limited to:

• Continue to advance and optimize our brand through marketing, communications, events, etc.
• Create and manage daily content, engage with our followers and track engagement on all social media and digital platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Google, etc)
• Manage paid campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Google
• Maintain and update our Squarespace website 
• Update and design our marketing materials such as brochures, postcards, business cards, as well as menu design which includes event and wedding signage
• Food and event photography
• Create and manage innovative strategies for growing our brand
• Host and attend networking events in order to increase presence in community
• Manage our event ticketing, responses, check-in
• Pitch events, dinners, stories to press
• Partner with like minded businesses on workshops, social, etc. to increase awareness of our brand
• Administrative, office and event support
• Field incoming calls and inquiries, track and manage business progress
• Report directly to owner

Skills and Requirements:

• Must be fully vaccinated to work at BDP
• College degree, preferably with focus in design, marketing or hospitality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with our clients and capture our audience 
• Excellent sense of visual design (background in graphic design and web design is a huge plus)
• Photography and editing skills (ideal candidate would have DSLR knowledge and lightroom editing experience)
• Excellent attention to detail, proof/read text copy for grammatical and spelling errors
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong skills in Mac computers, Google Drive and Analytics, web design 
• Friendly, approachable personality
• Professional appearance and demeanor 
• Experience in hospitality 
• An interest in all aspects of our business and target audience: events, weddings, private events, green businesses, women owned businesses, urban farming, etc. 
• Eagerness and willingness to jump in wherever is needed
• Beginning Mostly weekday hours but must have flexibility in schedule to work some evenings or weekends when needed for events
• Job could be part-time leading to full-time as our business builds back up.
