Big Creek Lumber Company is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative (Contractor Salesperson)

Big Creek Lumber Company seeks a motivated Contractor Salesperson to join our Vallejo sales team.

Big Creek supplies central California builders with the materials they need for home and outdoor living construction while saving them time and money through our commitment to flexibility, quick decision making, innovative thinking and the use of technology.

If you are an up-and-coming salesperson who thrives on helping your customers succeed, this may be the opportunity for you.

Our ideal candidate is:

1. Excited about sales and customer service.

3. Bilingual in English/Spanish.

The ideal candidate has:

1. Good practical knowledge of building materials and construction terminology.

2. Ability to work effectively with a team to obtain a high level of customer satisfaction and promote Big Creek in a positive manner.

3. Positive, personable, professional attitude.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform inside sales with contractors, homeowners and walk-in customers on the phone and in the store.

2. Determine customer needs, quote prices and take customer orders for both delivery and pick-up.

3. Achieve individual and branch sales goals by tracking quotes and calling customers to close sales.

4. Provide inside support for outside sales representatives.

Opportunities:

1. Become the trusted inside contact for an outside sale rep.

2. Develop your own base of repeat customers.

Schedule:

Full-time position during our business hours of Monday thru Friday, 6AM - 6PM; Saturdays, 8AM - 8PM, with a day off during the week
