As the Director of HR and Talent Development, you will be instrumental in creating and implementing the people strategies for a fast-growing organization dedicated to delivering comprehensive ABA services for children with Autism. From HR policy development and refinement, to employee engagement, retention, and development, you will be driving the overall programs that lead to the successful careers of the people who support to the children that we serve. Position Summary:

The Director of HR and Talent Development plays a critical role in the HR department. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role involves a range of duties, including providing strategic guidance and leadership to the organization around HR policies, employee relations and engagement, retention strategies, compensation structures, and creating effective workforce training programs. Furthermore, you will be expected to work alongside leadership to develop initiatives focused on employee performance management and employee satisfaction. Qualified candidates will have prior experience working collaboratively to define robust talent development initiatives, have the ability to identify trends and make sound suggestions for improvement, and be highly motivated to make a larger, positive impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, manage and implement performance management systems that align with company objectives.
  • Lead the strategic planning of workforce development initiatives to ensure alignment with future growth projections.
  • Champion continuous learning and professional development opportunities for employees at all levels. 
  • Develop and execute talent development strategies that identify and nurture high-potential employees, preparing them for leadership roles within the organization.
  • Develop and manage a compensation structure that aligns with market trends, organizational goals, and employee performance.
  • Design, coordinate, and deliver programs that address the skill needs of the organization and support career development paths for employees.
  • Regularly analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee satisfaction survey scores) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and HR strategy adjustments.
  • Refine onboarding processes to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and their roles.
  • Act as a change agent, supporting and managing organizational change initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with the CPO and other leadership to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Maintain communication with key stakeholders including functional leader and center employees, to ensure HR initiatives are understood and supported across the organization
  • Contribute to learning and development projects, including instructional design work.

Requirements

Experience:

  • Proven track record in HR leadership within fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Experience in HR management with a strategic focus.
  • Demonstrated success in developing performance management frameworks.
  • Experience in strategic workforce planning and talent development.
  • Proficient in designing and delivering effective training programs.
  • Strong background in working with various teams, including technical and clinical staff.
  • Excellent collaborative and advisory skills with executive teams
