We are looking to hire a dependable and self-motivated individual to serve our company as an Estimator.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of construction plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
• Project estimation using takeoff software and MS Office products.
• Obtaining material and equipment quotes from suppliers.
• Preparing concrete bids and submitting them to clients.
• Consulting with clients, vendors, or other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.

Skills and Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information and be able to stay focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong prioritization skills.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business and construction documents, drawings, and technical procedures.
• Ability to communicate well with all levels of workers involved with the project.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to work under pressure when necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft software programs such as Word and Excel.
• 3 years of experience in this or a similar role is strongly preferred.
• Preferably looking for someone with knowledge and experience in estimating commercial concrete projects.
• Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred but not a must.
