Bianca's Grill and Vineyard is Hiring a Prep line cook Near Ankeny, IA
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Prepares food items according to our standards of quality, consistency, and timelines.
Ensures compliance with all health codes and requirements.
Maintains stocking (re-stocking) and organization of work area daily.
Operates equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations.
Use knives correctly while chopping, cutting, dicing, etc.
Completes prep tasks as needed in accordance with recipe, procedure, quality, and speed standards.
Contributes to positive food costs by utilizing established best practices.
Responds to additional guest requests by preparing orders to their specifications.
Maintains food storage, receiving, stocking, and rotation.
Works closely and communicates with both BOH and FOH team members at a high pace.
Follows all relevant brand standards.
Education & Experience :
Must have prior cooking experience.
Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, salamander, stoves, ovens, Hobart, broiler, and pizza oven desired.
Must be 18 years of age to operate mandated equipment.
Performance Standards :
Meets all company standards regarding food quality and food safety.
Demonstrates teamwork with coworkers.
Maintains an upbeat, guest-first, positive attitude.
Maintains a clean and organized workstation.
Must be able to walk and stand during the entire shift.
