Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Specialist to join our team. The Leasing Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the leasing and administrative activities of our properties. Responsibilities:

- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants

- Respond to leasing inquiries via phone, email, or in-person

- Screen potential tenants by reviewing applications, conducting background checks, and verifying income

- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are completed accurately

- Assist with move-in and move-out processes, including conducting inspections and coordinating repairs

- Maintain accurate records of leasing activities using our property management software

- Stay up-to-date on Fair Housing regulations and ensure compliance in all leasing activities

- Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner

- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating online listings and coordinating advertising campaigns

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in real estate or property management is a plus

- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and experience working with Section 8

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and record keeping

- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
