Looking to hire a referral/pre-certification office coordinator.

Job Details:
  • This position involves requesting/maintaining office referrals/tracking from primary care physician offices, test and procedure scheduling and obtaining pre-certification from insurance companies and then documenting pre-cert into EMR via data input/scanning. 
  • Testing that requires pre-cert includes, but is not limited to Cardiovascular stress testing, Echocardiogram/TEE, Arterial/Vascular Ultrasounds, Heart Cath- with and without stenting, Venogram/IVUS, Atherectomy, etc.
  • Secondary office help will be expected- answering phones/message taking, helping with overall patient care during check-in/out process, collecting co-pay/posting payment, data input, chart prep prior to office visits, and future appointment confirmations, when needed.)
  • Previous cardiology scheduling/pre-cert experience is necessary.
  • Medical Assistant/nursing background and/or certification would also be helpful, but not required.
