Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented General Ledger Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and possess expertise in various accounting principles.

Your standard work day will include:

• Manage and maintain the general ledger system.
• Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions, including accruals, prepayments, and adjustments.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial information.
• Assist with external audits and regulatory compliance.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Reporting duties and ad hoc tasks as required
• Other duties as assigned by management

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks desktop) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
