Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Product Platform Vice President to join our global company. As the Vice President of Product Platform, you will be responsible for leading the strategic development, enhancement, and management of our AI-powered product offerings. Your expertise will drive innovation, scalability, and overall success of our product platform, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the industry.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development and execution of the product platform strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, data scientists, and sales, to ensure seamless product integration and feature enhancements.
  • Identify market opportunities and potential areas for product expansion, conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis.
  • Drive the product roadmap, prioritizing key features, and making data-driven decisions to optimize the platform's performance.
  • Lead the design and development of AI-based solutions that cater to the specific needs of our customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry experts, to gather feedback and understand evolving requirements.
  • Oversee the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality assurance.
  • Monitor product performance metrics and KPIs, implementing improvements and addressing issues as needed.
  • Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies and positioning for the product platform.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and emerging technologies, incorporating relevant innovations into the product roadmap.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12 years of relevant experience with at least 10 in a management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading product development teams or product management in the AI software industry.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data-driven technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and managing AI-based products in industrial sectors.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or MBA degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive experience specifically in AI product development for the industrial sectors mentioned.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance considerations in oil and gas, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and services for scalable product deployments.
  • Proven ability to drive product growth and revenue through innovative strategies.
  • Strong network and connections within the AI and industrial sectors.
  • Prior experience in international business and managing global product teams
This position is located in our Glendale, CA headquarters and is eligible to participate in the company's hybrid 3/2 work model.
The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is listed below as a yearly salary. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or company stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Hiring Range

$215,957—$235,998 USD
