We are agile, customer-centric, professional and our goal is to Looking for the perfect fit to help build this pediatric dental start-up created by Dr. Nelson Beville. This practice is immaculately designed with a focus on overall wellness through proper education and prevention of dental diseases. It is located in the heart of the Park Cities and will be catering to the kids and families of those neighborhoods!! .

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organizational skills and a passion for patient care. Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Perform dental charting and record patient information - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions - Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records Skills: - Proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry - Experience with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software for dental procedures - Knowledge of dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and insurance verification - Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management systems - Understanding of medical coding for dental procedures - Ability to take and record vital signs accurately - Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic technique - Experience with Eaglesoft or other electronic health record systems Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assistant program preferred - X-ray certification required - CPR certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Health insurance coverage - Paid time off and holidays If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply for the position of Dental Assistant.
