SUMMARY

• Hiring, training and mentoring of data team members
• Oversees all product data in NetSuite & E-Commerce system including but not limited to: pricing, images, attributes, descriptions, categorizations.
• Oversees all data gathering tasks, including but not limited:to contacting suppliers for detailed product data, scrape data available on the internet, manual extraction from PDFs or paper documents.
• Coordinates data team to provide all non-financial reporting requirements of the organization for example sales segmentation by: brand, channel, category.
• Responsible for the quality of all product data and its improvement across all the organization's software systems.
• Builds a department around standardized processes that are documented.
• Coordinates a team of software developers to implement AI solutions for tasks such as pricing decisions, product categorization, alternative/replacement product suggestions.

Qualifications:

• Must be capable of working with large data sets (100,000-500,000), using tools such as MS Excel and Python.

• Tableau

• Knowledge of AI systems and capabilities of such systems. (Not actual development)

• Proven track record of managing and mentoring a team ranging from data scrappers, software developers and engineers
