Better Living Medical is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Broken Arrow, OK

  • Greet Patient's.
  • Register patient's and verify all records are up to date and accurate.
  • Confirm patient's insurance eligibility and benefits.
  • Receive and sort mail.
  • Answer phones and direct calls if needed. Check voicemail throughout the day and return messages.
  • Check emails and respond to any messages.
  • Check fax machine throughout the day and respond accordingly.
  • Order supplies as needed.
  • Submit and retrieve medical records requests.
  • Review charts and make sure all necessary documentation is obtained prior to scheduling appointments.
  • Submit prior authorizations to insurance for review and follow up on response.
  • Perform other assignments/duties as given by supervisor.

Experience/Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior experience in medical office environment and/or reception preferred.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe proficient.
  • Comfortable with using multiple web based applications daily.
  • Understanding of HIPAA.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
