We are looking for experienced Caregiver/CNA/PCA to care for our client in Ewing, VA.

Part-Time Shifts available.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and every other Saturday 11am-6pm.

Better Living Home Care is a home care registry who refers quality caregivers to clients in need of private duty home care. We are a team of independently contracted, highly professional and compassionate caregivers, CNAs, and PCAs.

So, what does this mean for you? Being an Independent Contractor, you have more control and flexibility over the jobs you want to take and are paid a higher rate in comparison to most agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Skills

• Proven experience as a caregiver
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
