Better Life Partners is Hiring a Physician Near Manchester, NH

Our team is seeking a Medical Provider [per-diem] to provide medication-assisted treatment services with our multidisciplinary team for our clients. If you are a caring, dedicated professional who possesses strong communication skills and a true desire to help others, this is the position for you!

You believe and practice evidence-based techniques and are looking to join a team focused on making a true impact in our communities. You are comfortable with a growing work environment. You enjoy giving and receiving feedback both quantitative and qualitative. 

In this role, you will interact with clients and families, referral sources, field staff, and members of the local medical community. You will be a resource for clients and community partners, guiding them on the path to recovery. You will work side by side with our licensed counselors, helping our clients find their way. Your work is essential to the client and your constant feedback will be expected to help them have the best outcome possible. Your vital work will allow clients to receive quality care in their communities and help make a better life within reach.

Responsibilities for Medical Providers include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life Partners
  • Facilitating group therapy and medical education sessions for Better Life Partners clients
  • Familiarizing with and utilizing Better Life Partners evidence-based curriculum guides and training
  • Diagnosing and prescribing appropriate medication in compliance with Better Life Partners treatment guidelines
  • Providing detailed feedback and maintaining clinical observations on clients
  • Consulting one-on-one with clients when deemed necessary
  • Participating in Better Life Partners and their community research and public health partners research and data collection efforts
  • Collaborating with community partners and Better Life Partners counselors on case management and care coordination efforts
  • Adhering to professional and ethical work standards
  • Maintaining compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations
  • Attending and engaging in regular training and company meetings

Qualifications for a Medical Provider:

  • ME License as a Nurse Practitioner, MD, DO (additional state licenses a plus)
  • Willingness to complete SAMHSA training for Buprenorphine X-Waiver training (24 hours online, free)
  • Several years of experience in practice
  • Willingness to travel locally in ME
  • Excellent time management and strong attention to detail
  • Exceptionally strong work ethic
  • Team player with an “all hands on deck” attitude, organized/able to multitask
