Bethel School District is seeking qualified applicants for an 8 hour per day Accounting III at the District Office. The Accounting III hours will perform accounts payable duties in the Business Office.
This position will be year round, 260 days.

ACCOUNTING III
Nature of Work
Positions in this class have a primary emphasis of fiscal record keeping for Bethel School District overall, such as accounts payable and control accounting at the District office.

These duties are illustrative only. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervision
After an initial orientation, employees are expected to function with relative independence and latitude within the framework of District policy and practices. Work is generally performed in accordance with established deadlines, and is reviewed for accuracy and timeliness, and through the internal control process. Supervision is provided by the Business Services Director, who is available for resolving work problems of a non-recurring nature.
Selection Factors
Minimum Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent, supplemented by course work or training in areas of emphasis for the position. Two years of computerized bookkeeping experience with an emphasis on accounts payable. Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training that ensures the ability to perform the work may be substituted.
