Sr. Manager, Customer Service - Trading Support Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Brokerage Data Processing Trading Support Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the order and trade processing and trading support activities within our firm. The Sr. Manager, Customer Service - Trading Support will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client order rooms and traders, operations, and technology, to ensure smooth and efficient order flow, trade execution and data management processes. The ideal candidate has a strong background in brokerage operations, data processing, and trading support, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Sr. Manager, Customer Service - Trading Support:

  • Manage and lead a team of data processing and trading support professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the daily data processing operations, ensuring accurate and timely trade capture, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
  • Collaborate with traders, operations personnel, and technology teams to identify and implement process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Monitor and analyze trade execution performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with external vendors and counterparties to ensure seamless integration and efficient data flow.
  • Develop and implement procedures, controls, and policies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management regarding trading support activities, operational metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to brokerage operations and trading support.

 Skills and Experience of the Sr. Manager, Customer Service - Trading Support:

  • 5 years experience in brokerage operations, data processing, or trading support, with 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Solid knowledge of financial products, trading processes, and market conventions.
  • Proficiency in utilizing data processing systems, trade order management systems, and reconciliation tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to brokerage operations and trading support.
