Job Details

Full-Time Contract: 6 months (possible extension for a longer term)

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:15A-3:45P

Weekly payroll - Direct Deposit and Paid Sick time

Responsibilities:

Receive prescription/medical orders.

Prepare and affix labels and auxiliary label to containers

Deliver medication to clinics/nursing staff and organize medication

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

- Utilize medical terminology and knowledge of medication administration

- Perform tasks related to pharmacy compounding, including inhalation medications and IV infusions

- Adhere to aseptic technique guidelines to maintain a sterile environment

Skills:

- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician

- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of pharmacy operations

- Knowledge of medication administration routes and dosage forms

- Familiarity with inhalation medications and IV infusion procedures

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in prescription processing

- Excellent communication skills for effective patient care

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of professionalism

- Experience with critical care settings is preferred but not required
