Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work overnight shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing them with a warm welcome
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy in all transactions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and courteously
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications using our hotel management system
- Conduct night audit procedures, including balancing accounts and generating reports
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide recommendations to guests
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus (bilingual)
- Experience with night audit procedures is preferred
- Proficient in operating phone systems and handling multiple calls simultaneously
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations
- Professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
